Features

The 27 inch Intel Core i7 all-in-one comes in the Apple’s latest standard design of glass and aluminium unibody structure where the casing is made from a single block of aluminium to get a sleek finish with sharp edges. The front bottom bezel has a black glossy Apple logo and the top (middle) houses an iSight Camera.

The casing incorporates the largest screen in the category of all-in-one desktops with the 27 inch TFT active-matrix LCD display with IPS technology which has a high resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with 16:9 aspect ratio and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. All this combines to present the user with the ultimate visual experience in all-in-one desktops.

Similar to the series, the rear side of the casing has multitude of standard ports which include 4 USB 2.0, a FireWire 800, audio in and audio out, Ethernet and a Mini DisplayPort which can also function as an input. On the right side, apart from the slot loading DVD drive, there is also a SDXC card slot for expanded connectivity with memory cards (up to 2TB).

Under the hood, this iMac combines the quadcore Intel Core i7 (2.93 GHz) processor’s power with a 4GB DDR3 RAM to deliver the ultimate performance. Also throbbing under the hood is the powerful ATI Radeon HD 5750 graphics processor that has 1GB GDDR5 dedicated RAM which promises the ultimate graphic performance. One the storage front, there is a 1TB 7200 rpm SATA HDD which can be upgraded to 2TB or combined with a 256 GB Solid State Drive for ultra-fast performance which most professional using graphic intensive application need.

One the connectivity front, apart from the Ethernet, this iMac has 802.11n Wifi with backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR for wireless connectivity.
The all-in-one comes in standard packaging with the iMac coupled with the necessary cables and the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse and runs the latest Mac OS X.
