MacBook Pro 15-inch is available in three models –
Design The15-inch MacBook Pro’s body is made of brushed aluminium. On to top, you will see an Apple logo, which glows in proportion to the brightness of the display; if the display is turned off, then so is the light source of the logo. It has a maximum resolution of 1400 x 900, which gives a bright and crisp image on the 15.4 inch glossy screen. On the left side of the machine, you will find a FireWire 800 port, Gigabit Ethernet port, SD card slot, battery indicator lights, two audio jacks, two USB 2.0 ports and a MagSafe power connector. There is not much to see on the right side; just a lock slot and the optical drive slot. The full-sized, chiclet-style keyboard is black in colour and is automatically lights up when used in dark environments. On the both side of the keyboards, you will find a pair of stereo speakers that gives loud and clear audio. Features The Core i5and i7 processors have very interesting performance features, together with Hyper-Threading technology that uses virtual-cores to double the amount of processing cores accessible to the Operating System. Turbo Boost, another technology of Core i5 and i7, allows the processor to speed up for a short period of time when required. It also increases the core speed of the 2.4 GHz Core i5 processor up to 2.93 GHz. There is also a new support for inertial scrolling on the Multi-Touch glass trackpad, just swipe your finger up or down to scroll through a document. It is also very smooth and your fingers slide much more comfortably and easily as compared to a plastic pad. The new Mini Display Port can now output multichannel audio as well as video.
